BCOM provides following social services to newly arrived refugees

Connection to ongoing community resources:
Connect eligible refugees to ongoing community resources – child care services, health services, social groups, improve social connections emergency and/or crisis services (shelter, domestic violence) and other needed public assistance services.
- Housing:
Help households who are at risk of losing permanent housing (unsubsidized housing or subsidized housing services)
- Secondary Resettlement (who move to MN from other states):
Access to public benefits, basic needs support, enrollment with health plan, registration of children at school including all the other services available at BCOM
- Transportation:
transportation independence through public transportation, obtaining permit, completion of drivers training, obtaining license.
- Immigration:
Application for permanent residence (Green Card), Application for citizenship, preparation for citizenship test
