BCOM is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization primarily serving Bhutanese refugee families in the Twin Cities area. BCOM provides support in the following service areas.
Since 2008, the Bhutanese Community Organization of Minnesota(BCOM), formally know as Nirvana Center, has been serving Bhutanese refugee families by providing support in their growth as new Americans. BCOM started as an informal organization designed to help newly arrived Bhutanese refugee families in Minnesota. BCOM works to address basic needs, assist with navigating systems, and support their clients on their journey towards achieving self-sufficiency. Currently, BCOM is the only ethnic Bhutanese nonprofit agency in the Twin Cities.

BCOM receives financial support from individual donations, corporate contributions, grants, nonprofit organizations, and government contracts. In addition, Many agencies and individuals have been supporting BCOM (sharing resources and capacity building) on its journey toward fulfilling its mission.
